Indian opener Smriti Mandhana has etched her name in the record books by scoring the second-fastest century in Women’s One Day Internationals (WODIs). She achieved this remarkable feat in just 50 balls during the third game against Australia at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium. Her explosive innings of 125 runs off only 63 balls was a standout performance, although India’s total of 369 fell short while chasing a massive target of 413.

### Smriti Mandhana – 13 Centuries
Mandhana’s blistering 125 against Australia was her 13th century in WODIs. Alongside these tons, she boasts 32 half-centuries. Her highest score remains a commanding 136 off 120 balls against South Africa in Bengaluru last year. Notably, all 13 of her centuries have come while opening the batting, a record no other player has matched at that position.
### Suzie Bates – 13 Centuries
With her latest century, Mandhana has equaled New Zealand’s Suzie Bates in the number of WODI hundreds. Bates has scored 13 centuries against seven different teams throughout her career. She also holds 37 fifties. In 171 matches for the White Ferns, Bates has scored 5,896 runs at an average of 39.83, with a personal best of 168. She currently ranks third in terms of the most runs scored in WODIs.
### Meg Lanning – 15 Centuries
Leading the list is former Australian captain Meg Lanning, who has scored an impressive 15 centuries in WODIs. She compiled these centuries in just 103 matches, making her one of the highest run-scorers in WODI history with 4,602 runs at an outstanding average of 53.51. Lanning also recorded 21 half-centuries during her illustrious career and announced her retirement before turning 31. Her best WODI score stands at an unbeaten 152.
