MANILA, Philippines – Collins Akowe put on a dominant show in his debut as host University of Santo Tomas (UST) walloped defending champion University of the Philippines (UP), 87-67, in a game that added a twist to the early title picture of UAAP Season 88 on Sunday.
The recruit from the National University boys program delivered an impressive performance, scoring 29 points and grabbing 17 rebounds, leading UST to a commanding victory.
