MANILA, Philippines — AREIT Inc. will receive a P20.99-billion infusion from its sponsor, Ayala Land Inc. (ALI), along with two of ALI’s subsidiaries, through a property-for-share swap deal.
This strategic move is set to enable the Ayala group’s real estate investment trust (REIT) to expand and diversify its portfolio, strengthening its market position.
In a disclosure on Friday, the country’s first publicly listed REIT announced the details of this transaction, highlighting its plans for growth and portfolio enhancement.
