**Guna Police Bust Gang Exploiting Minor Girls Through Fake Rituals to Lure Victims into Flesh Trade**

*Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh):* In a significant breakthrough, Guna police on Saturday dismantled a gang that used deceptive rituals involving minor girls to lure victims under the pretext of invoking a ‘money shower’ and subsequently forced them into flesh trade, officials confirmed.

According to SP Ankit Soni, the police received a tip-off about a minor girl who was about to be sold in the Madhusudangarh area of the district. Acting promptly, a trap team was formed, and a raid was conducted, leading to the rescue of the girl and arrest of four accused, while two others managed to escape.

During the investigation, police uncovered that the gang specifically targeted poor and needy families. They selected minor girls based on particular physical features such as height and weight. The girl’s photograph was then shared with potential “clients.”

The gang falsely claimed that through the girl’s “divine power” combined with their ritual expertise, a shower of money would begin descending upon her — a superstitious scam designed to extract large sums from gullible people. When the supposed miracles failed to occur, the gang would offer to sell the girl in exchange for the money already paid by the victims’ families.

Further investigations revealed that a large number of photographs of minor girls were found on the mobile phones of the arrested individuals. Police have launched an extensive search operation to trace other girls who may have been trafficked by the gang.

Authorities have urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to help combat such exploitative crimes. The police are continuing their probe to apprehend the remaining accused and dismantle the entire network.
