**Real Estate Sector in Bhopal Sees Significant Boom During Navratri Festival**
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The real estate sector in the state capital has witnessed a remarkable surge during the Navratri festival, with property registrations for plots, houses, and flats doubling compared to regular days.
Over 3,000 property registrations have already been recorded in the past week, and officials predict that this number could surpass 5,000 by Dussehra on October 2. Crowds have been flocking to the district’s registration offices located in Vairsia, Pari Bazaar, and ISBT Market. Many are booking slots in advance and arriving early to complete their transactions.
Under normal circumstances, daily registrations typically range between 250 and 300. However, during Navratri, this figure has crossed 600, marking a substantial increase. District Registrar Officer (DRO) Swapnesh Sharma noted that registrations are expected to rise further as Diwali approaches.
To accommodate the growing demand, officers and staff will remain on duty even during holidays, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted service. Additionally, witnesses who are unable to attend in person can verify transactions through Aadhaar Face and Mudra applications, facilitating a seamless processing experience.
Officials from the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI) highlighted that registrations of plots, houses, and apartments have increased sharply during Navratri. This surge has contributed to a 20-30% rise in overall real estate business in Bhopal.
“The festival season is proving to be a golden period for property buyers and the real estate industry alike, as many people are choosing auspicious days to fulfill their dreams of owning homes and plots,” said DRO Sharma.
With the ongoing festive momentum, the real estate market in Bhopal is poised for continued growth in the coming weeks.
