Team India, led by Suryakumar Yadav, clinched the Asia Cup 2025 title by defeating Pakistan in a thrilling final at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday, September 29. This victory marked the third occasion on which India triumphed over Pakistan in the tournament. The winning moment came when Rinku Singh struck the decisive shot that sealed the match for India.

Following the win, social media platforms were flooded with congratulatory messages for Team India. Among the viral content was a video showing popular YouTuber Elvish Yadav congratulating Rinku Singh over a video call. Elvish shared the clip on his Instagram story shortly after the match concluded.

One aspect of the video that caught the attention of netizens was Rinku addressing Elvish as “bhaiya” (brother). During their conversation, Elvish said, “Mahool bana diya. Karo enjoy,” and asked, “Party kidhar hai?” After Rinku’s reply, the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner added, “All the best. Congratulations once again. Bye brother, love you.” Rinku responded warmly, “Okay, thank you bhaiya… bye. Love you bhaiya.”

The affectionate use of “bhaiya” sparked surprise and discussion online, as Elvish Yadav is only one year older than Rinku—Elvish is 28, while Rinku is 27. Calling someone “bhaiya” in Indian culture often connotes respect and warmth, even if there is no biological relation.

However, not all reactions were positive. Some users on X commented critically, with one asking, “Iss gawaar ko bhaiya kyun bol rha hai Rinku Singh,” while another labeled it a “New low for Rinku.” Others advised Rinku to stay focused and avoid close associations, referencing past controversies involving other players like Prithvi Shaw. Comments such as “Unreal downfall of Rinku” and “Rinku Singh kya majburi thi?” reflected disappointment among certain fans.

In the early hours of Monday, Elvish Yadav also took to his official X account to congratulate Team India. He wrote, “93,000 surrendered in December 1971. It’s September 2025; nothing has changed. Pakistan has always surrendered to India!! Congratulations Team India.”

On the entertainment front, Elvish was recently seen on *Laughter Chefs Season 2*, where he emerged as the winner alongside his partner Karan Kundrra.

The Asia Cup victory has certainly sparked celebrations and conversations alike, showcasing the blend of sports and popular culture in India’s vibrant social media landscape.
