**ICE Agents to Have Presence at Super Bowl Amid Controversy Over Bad Bunny’s U.S. Tour**

ICE agents will have a presence at the upcoming Super Bowl, amid claims made by Halftime Show performer Bad Bunny that his U.S. tour was canceled over fears his fans would be targeted by immigration enforcement.

RadarOnline.com can reveal that Corey Lewandowski, a longtime Donald Trump ally and Department of Homeland Security advisor, confirmed that enforcement officers will be active at the event. The Super Bowl is set to take place in February at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Lewandowski also criticized the NFL for selecting a musician he described as someone who “hates America” for the high-profile halftime performance.

### “We Will Deport You”

Lewandowski stated:
*”It’s so shameful they picked someone who seems to hate America. There is nowhere you can provide safe haven to people who are in this country illegally. Not the Super Bowl and nowhere else. We will find and deport you. That is a very real situation.”*

### Bad Bunny Addresses Choice to Limit U.S. Tour Dates

Bad Bunny addressed his decision to make only one mainland U.S. appearance just moments before the NFL announced he would be playing the Super Bowl halftime show. The Puerto Rican star wrote on X (formerly Twitter):
*”I’ve been thinking about it these days, and after discussing it with my team, I think I’ll do just one date in the United States.”*

### Accusations from the MAGA Community

Following the announcement, the MAGA community reacted strongly. Conservative podcaster Benny Johnson labeled Bad Bunny a “massive Trump hater” and “anti-ICE activist,” also criticizing him for not performing in English.

Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, explained his reasoning behind not scheduling more mainland U.S. shows. He cited his lengthy residency in Puerto Rico — a U.S. territory — and concerns over the Trump Administration’s increasing use of ICE agents as significant factors.

### Bad Bunny Explains His Decision

*”There were many reasons why I didn’t show up in the U.S., and none of them were out of hate — I’ve performed there many times,”* he said.
*”All of the shows have been successful. All of them have been magnificent. I’ve enjoyed connecting with Latinos who have been living in the U.S.”*

He continued,
*”But specifically, for a residency here in Puerto Rico, when we are an unincorporated territory of the U.S., people from the U.S. could come here to see the show. Latinos and Puerto Ricans of the United States could also travel here, or to any part of the world.”*

The “Tití Me Preguntó” hitmaker added:
*”But there was the issue of — like, f—–g ICE could be outside (my concert). And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about.”*

### Lewandowski on ICE Presence at the Super Bowl

Despite criticizing the NFL’s choice, Lewandowski confirmed that ICE agents would have a presence at the Super Bowl regardless of the performer.
*”I don’t care if it’s a concert for Johnny Smith or Bad Bunny or anybody else. We’re going to do enforcement everywhere,”* he said.
*”We are going to make Americans safe. That is a directive from the president. If you’re in this country illegally, do yourself a favor: go home.”*

### Bad Bunny’s Selection and Other Contenders

Bad Bunny’s selection comes after weeks of speculation about who would perform at the event. Other artists believed to be in contention for the coveted halftime spot included Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, and Adele.
