The Malayalam superhero film *Lokah: Chapter 1 Chandra*, starring Kalyani Priyadarshan, has made history by becoming the highest-grossing film of all time in Kerala. The movie grossed ₹1.8 crore in its sixth weekend alone, pushing its total collection to approximately ₹119 crore in the state. This remarkable feat surpasses the previous record set by *Thudarum* earlier this year.

Since its release, *Lokah: Chapter 1 Chandra* has dominated the box office, earning ₹178.5 crore across India and nearly ₹298 crore worldwide. The film is on track to become the first Malayalam film to gross ₹300 crore globally. *Lokah* faced stiff competition from *Thudarum*, which held the box office record for much of its run. However, *Thudarum*’s early digital release, just five weeks after its debut, effectively cut short its theatrical earnings. This allowed *Lokah* to claim the all-time record in Kerala.
