**15 Killed After Landslide Buries Bus Under Debris in Himachal Pradesh**

At least 15 people lost their lives when a massive landslide buried a bus under debris in Himachal Pradesh’s Bilaspur district late Tuesday evening. The tragic incident occurred near Ballu Bridge, where chunks of mud and rocks slid down a hillside, colliding with the vehicle.
According to Bilaspur Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar, the bus was carrying more than 30 passengers, though the exact number remains unknown. So far, three individuals have been rescued alive.
A policeman at the scene described the devastation to news agency PTI, saying, “The whole mountain came crashing down on the bus.” He added, “Chances of survival of passengers are bleak,” highlighting the severity of the landslide that completely buried the vehicle under tons of debris.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy and is closely monitoring the ongoing rescue efforts. On social media, the CM wrote, “In this massive landslide, tragic news has come of 10 people losing their lives after a private bus was caught in it.” He also assured that he remains in touch with local authorities for regular updates.
Rescue operations are currently underway as authorities work tirelessly to recover survivors and manage the aftermath of this catastrophic event.
