Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has vowed to take strict action following the tragic deaths of 22 children, mostly from the Chhindwara district. These children lost their lives after consuming toxic Coldrif cough syrup.
The syrup in question was manufactured by a Tamil Nadu-based firm. The owner of the company, Ranganathan, has been arrested in connection with the incident.
In response to the tragedy, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to thoroughly probe the matter and bring those responsible to justice. Authorities are committed to ensuring accountability and preventing such incidents in the future.
