Pokemon Legends: Z-A offers a variety of settings for players to customize their experience, with one of the most important being the camera controls. For many gamers, especially those accustomed to first- or third-person games, inverting the Y-axis for camera movement is a preferred option. Fortunately, Pokemon Legends: Z-A includes the ability to invert the Y-axis, making it easy to tailor the controls to your play style.
How to Invert the Y-Axis
The setting to invert the aiming controls is located in the Camera tab within the Settings menu. You can access it from the pause menu. Follow these steps to change your camera controls:
- Press the X button to open the Menu.
- Press the L button to open Help & Settings.
- Select Settings.
- Press the R button to navigate to the Camera tab.
- Change Vertical Camera Controls to Inverted.
Once set, your vertical camera movement (Y-axis) will be inverted. This means when you push up on the right thumbstick, your view will move downward, and when you pull down, your view will move upward.
If you prefer, you can also invert the horizontal camera controls by changing the Horizontal Camera Controls setting to Inverted. This will flip the left and right inputs on the right thumbstick as well.
