The good news is that Battlefield 6’s latest update addresses this by boosting normal progression. However, the bad news is that popular XP farming methods are likely to be nerfed in the near future.
**What’s New in Battlefield 6’s Progression Changes?**
Battlefield Studios shared the details of the latest progression changes on the official Battlefield social media channels this week. Here is a summary of the key updates:
– **Match Completion XP per minute increased by 10%**
– **XP from Daily Challenges increased by 40%**
– **Reduced XP needed to unlock the first 20 Attachment Ranks**
*Please Note:* For weapons that are already being progressed, the UI might initially display inaccurate information. This will resolve itself once you have played a match using that weapon.
Additionally, assignments that previously required Career Ranks 20, 23, and 26 to begin will now require Career Ranks 10, 15, and 20, respectively.
**Looking Ahead: Challenges and XP Farming**
As mentioned in the recent Community Update, the developers are aware of frustrations surrounding certain challenges. They are actively reviewing these challenges, but creating, testing, and implementing changes will take additional time.
While this update boosts regular progression, attachments, and weapon unlocks, an accompanying community update also addressed XP farming. Currently, there are no changes to XP farming through bot matches in this update. However, Battlefield Studios has warned that adjustments are necessary and will be introduced in the future to curb these farming methods.
