‘I just saved a cat from my walls’: Kind homeowner saves 4-week-old kitten after hearing mysterious meowing from a purrfectly perilous location – inside his bathroom wall

We had the opposite problem of the kind homeowner described below—we had rats in our walls once. It was awful. We couldn’t sleep because we kept hearing them moving inside the wall behind us at night. Thankfully, that’s all behind us now, and honestly, we would trade rats scurrying any day for mysterious meowing coming from the walls.

But even if meowing sounds cute, it’s still pawsitively concerning. Meowing from inside the walls usually means something is stuck in there, and you’ll likely have to tear down at least part of the wall to get it out.

After two days of not knowing where the meowing was coming from, the tenant finally called a maintenance crew to check it out. They discovered a four-week-old kitten stuck back there but couldn’t get it out themselves.

Determined to help, the tenant took matters into his own paws. With the help of a few friends, he rescued the adorable kitty from the wall. The kitten is now safe and being cared for.

Soon, this little furball will get vaccinated, dewormed, and start living his fluffy life to the fullest. And it’s all thanks to a hammer and some wet food!
