In a turn of events, Fat Joe may finally be able to “Lean Back.” Tyrone Blackburn, who was in the process of pursuing a lawsuit against Fat Joe, may now have his case on hold following some unexpected news.
Blackburn has been indicted for allegedly running over a process server with his car. According to TMZ, the incident occurred in May of this year. Blackburn allegedly reversed his vehicle and struck the process server, causing a knee injury that required surgery.
Prior to this incident, Tyrone Blackburn was representing Terrance “T. A.” Dixon in a case against Fat Joe. T. A. claimed that he contributed to writing some of Joey Crack’s music. Additionally, there has been another lawsuit alleging that Fat Joe had inappropriate relations with minors.
Fat Joe’s attorney has dismissed these allegations as “lies intended to damage his reputation and force a settlement through public pressure.” Throughout these controversies, the South Bronx legend has remained unbothered and focused on positive projects.
One such project is his new podcast with Jadakiss called “Joe and Jada.” The show has hit the ground running, featuring superstar guests such as Cardi B, Ty Dolla $ign, and Ne-Yo sitting down with the two hip-hop MCs. The duo has also announced an upcoming episode with platinum producer Hitmaka.
On the podcast, Joey Crack has been showcasing his personality effortlessly. One memorable story involved meeting Bruno Mars, where Fat Joe recalled asking the pop star if he is Hispanic and receiving a disappointing response. This encounter changed how he viewed Bruno Mars moving forward.
With these developments, it seems Fat Joe is continuing to rise above the drama and focus on his craft and connections within the music industry.
