### How to Get the Kanto Starters in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
You won’t have playing Pokémon Legends: Z-A for too long before you can add your favorite Kanto starter to your team. After reaching Rank W, you will receive a call from Mable on your Rotom Phone. She will ask you to visit her at the Pokémon Research Lab located at the southern end of Vernal Avenue.
Make your way there, and once inside the Director’s Office, turn left—you will see the three Kanto starters waiting for you. Interact with them to talk to Mable, and you will get to pick whichever one you like.
I opted for Squirtle because I always do—he is the greatest of all the Pokémon in my opinion—but feel free to choose your own favorite or pick the Pokémon that best fills a gap in your party.
