The New York Jets secured their first win of the season with a thrilling 39-38 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
The Jets’ running game was the driving force behind the win, featuring standout performances from Breece Hall and Isaiah Davis. Both backs delivered dominant efforts on the ground, keeping the Bengals’ defense on their heels throughout the game.
A highlight moment came late in the fourth quarter when Hall threw the final touchdown to give the Jets the lead. Taking the pitch from quarterback Justin Fields, Hall initially appeared to be heading for his third rushing touchdown of the game. However, instead of powering straight into the end zone, he pulled up and threw a pass to rookie tight end Mason Taylor.
Taylor made the most of the opportunity, securing the catch and getting both feet in bounds to complete the score. The touchdown was especially significant as it occurred on National Tight End Day, adding a memorable touch to the Jets’ hard-fought victory.
