That two-win team is the Baltimore Ravens, who are getting star quarterback Lamar Jackson back. The Dolphins should take some of the things they executed both in run offense and defense against the Falcons with them into this one, but it’s a different challenge.

Maybe Thursday night lightning strikes twice? Sure, Lamar Jackson is returning this week, but he’s rusty after a Sept. 28 injury sidelined him. The Dolphins are feeling good after Sunday’s complete victory. Why not?

Miami faces a big challenge coming off a short week against the Ravens, who return two-time league MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson. After QB Tyler Huntley helped the Ravens snap their four-game losing streak last week, they appear primed to make a run.
The Dolphins’ next five opponents include the Ravens, Vikings, Browns, Jets, and Bengals. Baltimore (2-5), 7½-point road favorites against the Dolphins, is just two games behind the division-leading Steelers (4-3). Baltimore’s defense has also made a turnaround for the once Super Bowl favorites.

A Dolphins win likely (and probably misguidedly) takes them out of the sellers market for the trade deadline.
