Google (GOOGL) parent company Alphabet has released its Q3 2025 quarterly earnings report, showcasing growth across various sectors, including YouTube.

YouTube has once again surpassed $10 billion in ad revenue, generating $10.261 billion in the most recent quarter. This marks a significant increase from $9.8 billion in the previous quarter and $8.9 billion during the same period in 2024.

“Alphabet had a terrific quarter, with double-digit growth across every major part of our business,” said Alphabet/Google CEO Sundar Pichai in the Q3 2025 earnings report.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the surge in YouTube’s ad revenue is largely due to the platform continuing to lead U.S. TV revenue sharing, outperforming other streaming services. YouTube has consistently held the top position for several months, extending its lead over competitors such as Disney and Netflix.

Notably, this is the second time in 2025 that YouTube has exceeded $10 billion in ad revenue, having previously recorded $10.473 billion in Q4 2024.
