Capcom had a lot to share about the upcoming **Resident Evil Requiem**, releasing a 10-minute “Road to Requiem” video on early Wednesday evening. The next installment in the Resident Evil series is now available for pre-order, but that’s not all the publisher has in store for fans.
Some special Resident Evil exclusives are on the way, with a couple of them heading to the Nintendo Switch 2. The Nintendo Switch 2 version of Resident Evil Requiem was first revealed during the September 2025 Nintendo Direct. While a mainline Resident Evil title coming to a Nintendo console is big news on its own, Capcom appears to be going further.
During Wednesday’s Road to Requiem presentation, viewers learned about a special **Resident Evil Requiem Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller**. This controller will launch alongside the game, featuring a gunmetal black design with unique elements inspired by Resident Evil Requiem.
Perhaps even more exciting is the announcement of the very first **Resident Evil Amiibo**. Modeled after the main protagonist Grace Ashcroft, this Amiibo is slated for release in Summer 2026. However, no images of the figure were shown during the presentation.
Other items revealed include the **Resident Evil Deluxe Edition**, which comes packed with five costumes, four weapon skins, two screen filters, and two weapon charms — perfect for fans looking to customize their experience.
There’s still much more to come regarding Resident Evil Requiem. To that end, Capcom is planning a special **Resident Evil Showcase** for early 2026, where more details and surprises are expected to be unveiled.
Stay tuned for further updates on Resident Evil Requiem and all the exclusive content coming your way!
