Alison Hammond found herself in an awkward situation during *The Great British Baking Show*’s “Patisserie Week.” The hilarious host attempted to climb over the fence in the middle of a comic bit, only to find herself stuck and in danger of flashing the world her privates. Noel Fielding had to literally stand in front of Alison, blocking the camera’s view to help get her out of this silly predicament.

It’s just the latest goofy moment that *Great British Baking Show* host Alison Hammond has found herself in while working on the Netflix show.

“Patisserie Week” is often one of the most stressful episodes of any season because it doubles as both the bakers’ hardest test and their final one before the finale. Naturally, it is at this tense moment that Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding choose to lighten the mood with laughter in the tent.

This week, Alison and Noel tried to brighten Toby Littlewood’s day by visiting his bench during the all-important Showstopper Challenge. After admiring his beautiful macaron “LEMONS” sign, Noel remarked that Toby wouldn’t give up “without a fight,” since he had struggled in the previous two challenges.

“He likes to fight,” Noel added.

“He likes to fight,” Alison repeated playfully. “Should we have a fight?” she joked, laughing as she put Noel in a playful chokehold.

“Yeah, but it’s not me who likes to fight,” Noel said, laughing and resisting. “Get off me!”

Alison let Noel go and embraced him, then turned to Toby with a shrug and a giggle. “Anything we can do to help?” she asked.

“Exit, I think,” Toby replied.

Alison and Noel stepped back slightly, and she asked, “What if we just hang out here?”

“Further,” Toby said. “You need to hop the fence.”

The camera then cut straight to Alison attempting to jump over the fence with none of the effortless ease that eliminated baker Iain Ross had displayed weeks earlier. She failed miserably—stuck straddling the white picket fence while wearing a dress.

A wheezing Alison cried out for Noel. “Cover me up! Come here! Stand there!”

A laughing Noel stood in front of Alison, shielding her with his wide-spread arms from the voyeuristic gaze of the camera—sort of. (The camera operator still managed to get a shot of Alison climbing over.)

Finally free, Alison stood a few feet away from the fence and asked Toby, “Here?”

Toby was satisfied. “Naw, that’s alright to be fair,” he said.

In the end, Toby’s Showstopper was a success, but it wasn’t enough to save him from elimination this week. Paul Hollywood pointed out that Toby’s Technical Challenge bake had been an absolute disaster.

So, did Alison manage to help Toby out with his bake? No, not really.

Did she offer us yet another zany moment in the Bake Off tent, though? That, she certainly did.
