This patch includes 14 fixes related to security vulnerabilities highlighted in the Android Security Bulletin, all classified as “high” severity. Samsung has also added 20 additional patches tailored specifically for Galaxy devices, which range from “high” to “moderate” severity.
As the update rollout is still ongoing, detailed information on every security vulnerability addressed in the October 2025 patch is not yet fully available.
Earlier in October, Samsung released this security update for its newer foldables—the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7—as well as for the Galaxy S25, S24, S23, and S22 series.
