DOWNTOWN FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — Culture was on full display in Downtown Fresno as people marked “Día de los Muertos,” also known as “The Day of the Dead.”
This celebration is one of Mexico’s most important traditions, honoring deceased loved ones with marigolds and decorated altars—known as ofrendas—to help guide their spirits back to the living world.
Last night, Tioga Sequoia Beer Garden hosted a massive party featuring live music, performances, ofrendas, delicious food, and contests that brought the community together to celebrate this meaningful holiday.
