It’s been in the name since the beginning, and now it’s a reality: *Donkey Kong Bananza* has sold like a banana bonanza. Nintendo has reported that the latest entry in the Donkey Kong franchise has sold almost 3.5 million units since its release.
Nintendo (NTDOY) released its Q2 FY26 earnings report on November 4, 2025. This report revealed that *Donkey Kong Bananza* has hit 3.49 million units sold since launching on July 17, 2025. While it wasn’t a launch title like *Mario Kart World*, it’s clear that Donkey Kong remains a must-own title in the eyes of consumers.
The earnings report also highlighted that the Nintendo Switch 2 has exceeded 10 million units sold since its launch on June 5, 2025. In addition, *Mario Kart World* has reached 9.57 million units sold, maintaining an almost one-to-one attachment rate since launch.
