Battlefield 6 Challenges Updated for Faster Completion
The Battlefield Comms team recently announced a significant update to Battlefield 6 Challenges, aimed at reducing grind and making it easier for players to unlock rewards. Shared via their social media channels, the update introduces lowered requirements for some of the more demanding tasks, allowing for faster completion.
Battlefield 6 Challenge Changes – November 5, 2025
The Battlefield Comms account shared a community update highlighting the changes to Challenges. Players will be pleased to know that many Challenge requirements have been reduced, making progress feel more rewarding and less time-consuming.
Earlier updates introduced increased XP gains in official matches and lowered XP required for the first 20 attachment ranks. Building on those improvements, this major overhaul of Challenges and Assignments is informed by gameplay data and player feedback.
This update significantly cuts down the time investment needed to complete Challenges, while maintaining a focus on skill-driven progression that rewards consistent play. Challenges and Assignments are now tuned to better match defined playtime targets, bringing their requirements in line with what can reasonably be achieved in a typical gaming session.
Assignments will continue to offer a range of goals, from those achievable through regular play to some that reward true mastery, especially for cosmetic unlocks. Some original challenge criteria did not fully reflect this intent, so updates have been made to clarify both their difficulty and purpose.
The first set of changes went live immediately via a server-side update. Any progress players have already made will automatically apply when they enter a match, unlocking any Challenges or Assignments now completed under the updated criteria.
These are just the beginning of a larger plan for Challenges and Assignments, which will be rolled out through multiple server-side and client-side updates over time. The team intends to provide the first set of improvements promptly while preparing further game updates, with more details to follow in future announcements.
What’s Changed?
In total, over 90 adjustments have been made to Challenges and Assignments. Here are some notable examples from the update:

Mode & Unit Assignments

- Conquest 2: Wins in Conquest — reduced from 5 wins to 2.
- Conquest 3: Objective kills in a round of Conquest — reduced from 30 to 10.
Gameplay & Mastery
- “Expert” and “Master” assignments requiring multi-kills, headshots, kill streaks, or revives have been adjusted to better align with typical gameplay rhythms.
- Explosives Expert 2: Multi kills (2+ kills onwards) with explosives — reduced from 20 to 5.
- Adaptable 2: Repair damaged vehicles in one life — reduced repair damage requirement from 3,000 to 500.
