**Better Pizza. Better Skyline. Better When It Mattered in the Fourth Quarter.**
The Chicago Bears pulled off yet another miraculous late-game come-from-behind win, thanks to quarterback Caleb Williams.
**FINAL:** Chicago Bears 24, New York Giants 20

### Thoughts on the Crazy Week 10 Win
The box score might not fully reflect Caleb Williams’ impact on the game, but to heck with the numbers. Chicago’s QB1 delivered victory from the jaws of defeat with an improbable touchdown run that lit up Soldier Field:

Two touchdowns in the final four minutes, all driven by Caleb Williams. His scrambles to convert first downs and extend drives were jaw-dropping. Watching him throw lasers targeting rookie tight end Colston Loveland—who caught four passes for 55 yards, all after halftime—and fellow first-year receiver Luther Burden III (3 catches, 51 yards) was truly eye-popping.
Bears Head Coach Ben Johnson said last week that this team finds ways to win games you think they shouldn’t. In the end, they did exactly that. I am still stunned.

### Chicago Bears Week 10 Instant Grades
#### Defense Steps Up When It Mattered Most
Let’s give some love to the Bears defense. Though the game wasn’t pretty for most of the day, this group got the crucial stops when it counted the most. There is some speculation about how the game might have turned out had Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart not left early due to a concussion. However, that shouldn’t diminish the clutch moments produced by Chicago’s defense down the stretch.
A shake punt helped flip the momentum too.

### Embracing the Snow Games
Let’s keep it real—we are going to miss games like this if (or when) the team moves to a fixed-roof stadium in the suburbs. Snow games are fun. Sure, they can be a little sloppy, but these ugly games build character—for both players and fans alike. Plus, they provide iconic pictures:

### Defensive Standout: Gervon Dexter Sr.
Watching the game live, one particular play stood out: defensive tackle Gervon Dexter Sr. made a critical one-armed tackle to save a touchdown. The Chicago Tribune’s Sean Hammond highlighted the moment:
> “Sure looked like Bears DT Gervon Dexter saved a touchdown with that one-armed tackle of Russell Wilson. New York adds a field goal. Giants 20, Bears 10. 10:19 4Q.”
> *— Sean Hammond (@seanhammond.bsky.social)*
Dexter’s stop forced the Giants into settling for a field goal and arguably became the biggest play of the game. He finished with four tackles (one solo), 0.5 sacks (more on half-sacks later), one quarterback hit, and one game-saving stop.

### Offensive Line and Running Back Notes
– **Theo Benedet on Offensive Line:**
Grading offensive linemen immediately after a game can be tricky. I’m looking forward to Matt’s detailed write-up later this week. Meanwhile, I’ll note that the error-free play was aided by the refs picking up a flag that would have been a phantom holding penalty.
– **Kyle Monangai:**
Last week’s hero finished with seven carries for 28 rushing yards and scored a touchdown. However, he also dropped the only pass thrown his way. Monangai has clear talent and runs with ease. With some offseason work focusing on catching (perhaps spending time in front of a JUGS machine), he could become a bigger part of the offense next year.

### What’s Next
The Bears face the Minnesota Vikings next week at noon CT on November 16, at US Bank Stadium (FOX-TV).
These late-game nail-biters can be heart-stopping but are well worth it if Chicago continues to come out on top. This team embodies resilience from top to bottom—from Head Coach Ben Johnson’s relentless push to Caleb Williams’ never-give-up mentality, trickling down to the rest of the roster.
Coach Johnson reiterated a key message postgame: in the NFL, “You don’t apologize for winning games.” This team has too much talent—even with the injuries—to avoid repeating these thrilling comebacks.
While this win improves the Bears’ record to 6-3, there is still work to be done when the team returns to Halas Hall. Teaching after a thrilling victory is far easier than after a disappointing loss.
