Kim Kardashian Doesn’t Seem Upset Over Failing the California State Bar Exam

On Sunday, reality star Kim Kardashian, 45, shared a carousel of photos on social media that included her wearing a tiny studded bikini. The pictures appear to be from her sister Kendall Jenner’s lavish 30th birthday celebration. One photo showcased a stunning resort setting along with balloons that read “Happy Birthday, Kendall.”

Kendall Jenner celebrated her birthday on November 3 with a star-studded, private beach bash. The event included family members such as her mom, Kris Jenner, and sisters Kim, Khloé Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner.

In less celebratory news, on Saturday, Kim announced that she had failed the California State Bar exam.

“Six years into this law journey, and I’m still all in until I pass the bar,” the Skims founder shared. “No shortcuts, no giving up — just more studying and even more determination.”

She emphasized her commitment by stating, “I’m still all in until I pass the bar.”

Kim went on to thank everyone who has supported and encouraged her along the way.

“Falling short isn’t a failure. It’s fuel. I was so close to passing the exam and that only motivates me even more. Let’s go!!!!!” she concluded.

Kim Kardashian first announced her desire to become a lawyer in a 2019 interview with Vogue magazine. She faced challenges early on, failing the baby bar exam three times before finally passing it in December 2021. She obtained her law degree in May 2025.

Despite this recent setback, the mother of four has remained positive. On Saturday night, she attended her mother Kris Jenner’s extravagant 70th birthday party.

The celebration was held at the Beverly Hills mansion of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez. The 007-themed party attracted a slew of A-list celebrities, including Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Oprah Winfrey, Paris Hilton, Chris Rock, Sarah Paulson, and all of Kim’s siblings.
