Arc Raiders Developer Embark Celebrates 700,000 Peak Concurrent Players Across All Platforms

Arc Raiders developer Embark is celebrating a monumental milestone: 700,000 peak concurrent players (PCC) across all platforms. This achievement is impressive in any context and serves as clear proof that PC players aren’t the only ones enjoying the new extraction shooter.

Earlier today, we reported that Arc Raiders hit 460,000 concurrent players on Steam alone, demonstrating just how massive the game’s success is on PC. However, with the newly revealed all-platform peak, we now have a much clearer picture of the player distribution between console and PC.

By simple estimation, 700,000 concurrent players across all platforms minus 460,000 on Steam means Arc Raiders reached approximately 240,000 peak concurrent players on consoles over the weekend, according to Embark’s latest figures.

In response to this incredible growth, the game’s official Twitter account shared:
“The many different ways you play and participate in ARC Raiders have completely blown us away, going far beyond what we ever imagined. You surprise us, you outsmart us, and you keep us on our toes. We wouldn’t have it any other way. The point being, you all push us to be better, and we’re truly grateful to have you along for this journey.”

Focusing strictly on Steam data, Arc Raiders was able to barely surpass Helldivers 2’s peak concurrent player count of 458,709, highlighting just how dominant it has been on PC. While there’s a lack of solid data regarding Helldivers 2’s console numbers, making it difficult to determine which game holds the higher overall PCC, it’s safe to say Arc Raiders’ launch is an undeniable success.

This accomplishment is especially noteworthy given that Arc Raiders is a brand new IP and only the second game from Embark, following the free-to-play FPS The Finals, which launched in 2023.

With such strong numbers on both PC and consoles, Embark’s future projects are certainly ones to watch.
