A recent update from Nintendo has caused frustration among users of third-party docks for the Switch 2. The Version 21.0.0 firmware update, implemented earlier this week, reportedly caused many third-party docks to stop working. This led to accusations that Nintendo was deliberately sabotaging third-party hardware.
Nintendo has denied these claims. Additionally, third-party manufacturers have identified the issue and have started adapting their products to address the problem. This was confirmed by Tom’s Hardware, which recently received an official statement from Nintendo regarding the matter.

If both Nintendo and the third-party dock makers are to be believed, the whole situation appears to be an unintended consequence of the Version 21.0.0 update rather than deliberate sabotage.
