WWE legend Paul Heyman recently sat down with Stephanie McMahon on her podcast, *What’s Your Story? With Stephanie McMahon*, where he shared a heartfelt story involving Brock Lesnar.
Known as “The Oracle,” Heyman is currently a part of The Vision, helping rising stars Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed transition into main event status. Throughout his illustrious career, Heyman has played a key role in elevating numerous superstars, including Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns.
During the podcast, Heyman reminisced about a touching moment from his time as Brock Lesnar’s advocate. He shared a story about visiting a Make-A-Wish child who was a huge fan of Lesnar’s “Beast Incarnate” persona.
“It was a young man, just 11 years old, but with the wisdom of like an 80-year-old little Jewish man,” Heyman recalled. “We went to visit him, and he was so upbeat. The kid starts talking about Brock’s storyline and how much he likes it. He couldn’t wait to see who was going to win the Royal Rumble.”
Heyman went on to describe the profound attitude of the child, who was battling a severe health condition. The kid said to him, “I don’t have that much time. And I’m not going to spend a minute of it miserable. I’m going to love every single moment I have.”
As the conversation continued, the child asked, “Hey, when is ‘Mania?” After being told the date, the boy confidently replied, “I’ll be there.”
Heyman admitted he was “blown away” when the child actually made it to WrestleMania. He shared an emotional moment backstage where the boy met his hero, Brock Lesnar.
“We did some press panels the week of WrestleMania. I was asked to join, and Brock was backstage. As I was looking down into the crowd, I saw the kid’s parents and the boy there. I thought, ‘Oh my God, they came to Mania on behalf of the kid,’” said Heyman.
“As the press conference was ending, I saw the mother and father walk out with the kid. I told security, ‘Please bring them backstage.’ Brock came in, the kid hugged him, and Brock said, ‘Gotcha,’” he added.

In other news, The Vision has recently added Logan Paul to their team ahead of WWE Survivor Series: WarGames. Logan Paul and others are set to face off against CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, and Jey Uso in the men’s WarGames Match. Both teams still need to add two more stars to make it a full 5 vs. 5 contest.
Brock Lesnar is heavily rumored to make a WWE return, siding with Paul Heyman just ahead of the premium live event. Meanwhile, Roman Reigns is expected to join Cody Rhodes’ team.
WWE fans are eagerly anticipating what the Triple H-led creative team has planned for Lesnar as the build-up to Survivor Series: WarGames 2025 continues.
