Our current theory is that while the Cat Distribution System (CDS) is very accurate in matching cats to their destined humans, its aim is not always purrfect. Sometimes, cats spawn in unexpected and unusual locations.
Fortunately, these feline friends always end up in the arms of their chosen humans, but getting there can involve quite an adventure. For example, there have been instances when the CDS caused a cat to fall through a window right into the arms of its forever human. In other cases, a cat was accidentally dropped inside a person’s chimney or even spawned inside a wall!
Just today, a couple had to embark on their own adventure to rescue a cat mom and her three kittens from underneath their house. Yes, they had to crawl into the crawlspace to bring the little family to safety.
As always, the adventure had a happy ending. The cats were safely captured, the kittens were adopted, and everyone was relieved.
That said, we have only one request: someone please tell the transportation secretary at the CDS to improve the aim of the system!
