This romantic comedy, co-starring Ananya Panday, is set to release on December 25.
Amidst the promotions for this romcom, Kartik also has a personal celebration to look forward to. Bollywood Hungama has learned exclusively that his sister, Dr. Kritika Tiwari, is set to get engaged in the first week of December.
### Kartik Aaryan’s Sister to Get Engaged in Gwalior
A source revealed, “Dr. Kritika will get engaged in their hometown, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. Although the family has kept the exact dates under wraps, the event is expected to take place during the first week of December. Preparations are already underway.”
Kartik is known to be very close to his sister and is reportedly over the moon with this happy news. The actor has carefully planned his schedule for the upcoming month to ensure he is fully present for his family on this momentous occasion without letting his work commitments suffer.
### A Loving Bond Between Kartik and Kritika
Kartik Aaryan’s beautiful relationship with his sister Kritika Tiwari is well documented, especially through their shared moments during Raksha Bandhan and Bhai Dooj celebrations. The siblings also gave a rare joint interview to Bombay Times on Raksha Bandhan in August 2024.
In the interview, Kartik expressed, “I have to say, having a sister is a blessing, and it’s sonay pe suhaga if she becomes your best friend. Sisters are the best secret keepers. Even today, I have that comfort with Kittu where I share everything with her.”
He added, “Whenever I’m going through something personal or having a bad day, she is my go-to person because just by talking to her or spending some time with her, things start looking better. She is younger but wiser than me. She is my cheerleader, but she is also honest about her thoughts and feedback.”
Dr. Kritika Tiwari opened up about their differences as well, saying, “We are poles apart as individuals. I am more outdoorsy, loud, and talkative, and he’s mostly quiet, composed, and a workaholic. As much as I appreciate how hardworking he is, I do wish he could find ways to let go and chill a little bit more.”
She further added, “When he went to college and I was in Bhopal doing my MBBS, I would write him letters every year. As much as I missed celebrating Raksha Bandhan together, writing Rakhi letters to him became one of my favourite things to do.”
