All eyes are on *Dhurandhar*, and its trailer is highly awaited. Originally scheduled to launch on November 12, the trailer release was postponed due to unforeseen circumstances last week and is now set for Tuesday, November 18.
As the world waits to see if the trailer lives up to the excitement generated by the teaser, Bollywood Hungama has learned that, following recent trends seen with several big films, *Dhurandhar* has turned out to be a lengthy movie.
**SCOOP: *Dhurandhar* Expected to Have a Runtime of Over 3 Hours; Set to Be Ranveer Singh’s Longest Film**
A source close to the film revealed to Bollywood Hungama, “*Dhurandhar* has a vast and expansive storyline. The focus is primarily on Ranveer Singh’s character and the journey he undergoes, while several other actors also play crucial roles. Director Aditya Dhar is determined not to rush through the narrative and wants to ensure that every scene keeps the audience engaged and excited.”
The source further shared, “Currently, the final runtime of *Dhurandhar* exceeds 3 hours, clocking in at approximately 3 hours and 5 minutes. The exact duration, confirmed by Aditya Dhar along with Jio Studios and B62 Studios, is expected to be finalized within the next 10 days.”
It remains to be seen whether the runtime will be trimmed or if it will remain as it is. If *Dhurandhar* runs for 185 minutes, it will become the longest film in Ranveer Singh’s career to date.
Previously, this milestone was held by *Dil Dhadakne Do* (2015), which had a runtime of 2 hours and 51 minutes. Following that were *Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani* (2023) at 2 hours and 48 minutes (in cinemas), *83* (2021), and *Padmaavat* (2018), each lasting 2 hours and 43 minutes. On the other end of the spectrum, *Kill Dil* (2014) is Ranveer’s shortest film, with a runtime just shy of 2 hours at 1 hour and 57 minutes.
Besides Ranveer Singh, *Dhurandhar* also stars Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun. For the trailer launch event on November 18, the entire team is expected to attend, with the exception of Sanjay Dutt and Akshaye Khanna.
