A Dothan woman died Sunday in a single-vehicle crash, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports. According to information released by ALEA, 21-year-old Ashton T. Jacobs was driving a 2010 Toyota Highlander that left the road, struck a ditch and overturned. “Jacobs was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash, was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene,” said an ALEA statement. The wreck happened at about 6 a. m. Sunday, Nov. 23, on Ludlum Road near Glen Lawrence Road, about a mile south of Webb in Houston County. Troopers are investigating the incident.
