### Plengus Chorgus Films
**Plengus Chorgus Eats An Egg (1987)**
In this silent short, the director eats a hardboiled egg in complete silence.
**Plengus Chorgus’ Frankenstein (1990)**
Continuing the minimalist style, the director silently eats a raw egg.
**Nobody Will Be Friends With Plengus Chorgus (1992)**
A harrowing and deeply unsettling film, this piece is considered one of the greatest works of outsider art. Despite having perhaps the least penetration among Plengus Chorgus’ films, it holds a special place in experimental cinema.
The film begins with the director cutting into a pie, but soon the footage skips to follow a young man named Adrian. He is stranded on a small island off the coast of Italy with his uncle and aunt. Adrian’s uncle, though mute, is physically violent and makes his intentions clear. The aunt, however, seems more fearful of Adrian than her husband.
Adrian attempts to repair a boat to reach the mainland. Once he sets out to sea, he finds himself carried miles off course and confronted by numerous spectral presences. His eventual landing on the coast proves even more distressing.
Viewers describe the film as an impossibly longing piece. Adrian is desperate for personal connection but is wounded and attacked with every move he makes. The one time he strikes out in his own defense, he experiences such profound shame that he is forced to reflect on the futility of even violence in creating connection.
The final shot is of Adrian on a beach, recoiling from the frenzied tide rushing at him. His broken leg renders him helpless, concluding the film on a harrowing note.
**What Are You Playing With Plengus Chorgus (1995)**
A brief but memorable scene where the director throws a hardboiled egg at a cat.

### What MMOs and Games Are You Playing This Weekend?
As the weekend approaches, several gamers and content creators shared their current gaming plans along with their favorite prank stories.

**Andrew Ross (@dengarsw):**
I’m jumping into some Shadow Raikou Raid Day on Pokémon Go this Saturday and might spend some time in Orna. I finally hit the level cap but, truthfully, I’m better at grinding than strategizing in that game. It can get cognitively heavy with preparation and combat—and not in a lighthearted way!
**Best prank:** I caught a dragonfly in my hand and released it above a family friend’s head. She didn’t believe I had it, so the surprise was priceless. We were both adults, which made it even funnier.

**Brianna Royce (@nbrianna.bsky.social, blog):**
I was holding out for a launch, but I’ll likely poke around Project Gorgon this weekend to prepare for the genre’s upcoming big lemmingfest. I need to find where I last logged my character.
**Pranks:** Not a big fan, honestly. But when my grandma turned 70 (or maybe 75?), we fibbed to her about having a small dinner and surprised her with a huge fancy party. That counts as a surprise but not a prank!

**Chris Neal (@wolfyseyes.bsky.social, blog):**
Probably diving into Guild Wars 2, but I’m also revisiting my back catalog of games like Control and Sleeping Dogs, which I recently reinstalled on a whim.
**Bonus:** I’ve never played a prank on anyone. Too much setup for too little payoff. Besides, I’m quick with smart jokes already!

**Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog):**
I’m wrapping up projects in Warframe and doing my usual Final Fantasy XIV routine, which will take most of my time. Also trying to stay warm!
**Prank story:** In middle school, my sister bragged about all the pranks she pulled without getting caught. Quietly, I took her bookbag out onto the deck and shut the door. She spent almost an hour searching for it—right in plain sight! She wanted to be mad but had to admit she got hoisted by her own petard.

**Sam Kash (@[email protected]):**
Planning to play Ashes of Creation, but the weather might mess with my electric grid and free time. Not betting money on it!
**Bonus:** Not much of a prankster. I can’t keep a straight face to save my life, so poker and pranks aren’t really my thing.
—
**Tyler Edwards (blog):**
Still playing World of Warcraft but running out of things to do before Midnight’s arrival. I’ll also grind out the weekend lootbox event in Overwatch 2.
