MANILA, Philippines — Amid fluctuating prices, revenues from coconut exports are projected to reach up to $3 billion in 2026. This optimistic outlook is attributed to the expected increase in production coupled with steady demand for coconut products.
The forecast comes from the United Coconut Association of the Philippines Inc. (UCAP), which highlights a significant growth in export revenues. The projected $3 billion figure for 2026 represents a 15.4 percent increase from UCAP’s estimate of $2.6 billion in 2025.
