**Engineering, Hospitality, Air Traffic Control and More: Over 500 Jobs Available at Manchester Airports Group**
Manchester Airport and its sister airports are currently hiring for a variety of roles, including Air Traffic Control Officers, Engineers, Firefighters, and Lounge Hospitality Staff. Manchester Airports Group (MAG), which owns and operates Manchester Airport as well as East Midlands and London Stansted Airports, is advertising more than 500 job vacancies.
To give prospective candidates the chance to explore these opportunities, MAG is hosting an autumn jobs fair at Wythenshawe Forum. The event will take place from 10am to 2pm on Wednesday, November 5. Attendees can speak directly with employers operating on-site and learn more about building a career at the airport.
Tickets for the jobs fair are free of charge and available online [here](#).
Many of the new roles available are within hospitality, car parks, and bussing. The job fair will also feature employers such as retailers and franchise operators including Fever Tree, JD Wetherspoon, and Airport Retail Enterprises, as well as airport service providers Dnata, Mitie, and AES — the engineering delivery partner for Ryanair.
The Airport Academy, a collaboration between Manchester Airport and Trafford, Stockport College Group, will also be present. They will be promoting their free pre-employment support programs, which include fully accredited training schemes. These programs are designed for individuals on Jobseekers Allowance who require additional support before applying for airport roles.
Jobseekers securing roles with MAG can benefit from a wide range of employee perks. These include discounts on public transport when commuting to work, free on-site car parking both during work hours and when on holiday, an excellent pension scheme, training programs, retail discounts, and much more.
“We are proud of our role in serving those communities, not just by connecting them to the places they want to fly to, but also by creating opportunities for local people and ensuring communities share in our success,” said a MAG spokesperson.
“Now is a great time to start a career here, as we come to the end of our £1.3 billion, 10-year transformation programme. This has created world-class facilities that will help the airport fulfill its potential as a global gateway for the North.”
