President Trump on Sunday sharply criticized Colombian President Gustavo Petro, calling him “an illegal drug leader strongly encouraging the massive production of drugs, in big and small fields, all over Colombia.”
Trump also took issue with subsidies being cut to the nation, highlighting that drug production has become the biggest business in Colombia by far.
He accused President Petro of doing nothing to stop the drug trade despite its widespread impact across the country.
