**ICE Arrests 15 People Following Investigation at Kenner Boat Launch**
*KENNER, La.* — Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested 15 individuals in Kenner after an investigation at the Kenner boat launch.
Kenner Police reported that on Friday around 9 p.m., federal agencies and state police conducted an investigation in the boat launch and pier park area. This operation was prompted by complaints from local residents concerning trash, noise, and traffic issues in the vicinity.
The area has been under regular police patrols, and the recent investigation aimed to address ongoing community concerns.
Kenner Police Chief Keith Conley issued the following statement:
> “I have received complaints from families and residents who could not enjoy this venue. This conduct goes back several years but has been escalating.
> The disrespectful conduct at the pier/park area had to be addressed. We have policed it, have had a presence and tried community outreach — to no avail.
> Constant complaints of trash, including discarded dirty diapers, beer cans, and litter; reckless driving; noise and harassment will not be tolerated.
> This conduct has been escalating and enough is enough! KPD will not allow our community to get bullied and our quality of life impacted. We will conduct these missions in the future as needed.”
The Kenner Police Department remains committed to ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all residents and visitors.
