WWE is currently experiencing a peak period, reaching new heights each week under the supervision of the TKO group. Many superstars have returned to the promotion recently, adding fresh excitement for fans worldwide.
Interestingly, a former women’s champion has expressed her interest in returning to WWE after nearly two decades away. Recently, former two-time WWE Women’s Champion Jazz spoke in an interview on Ring the Belle, sharing her thoughts about a potential comeback to the sports entertainment giant.
Jazz, now 53 years old, signed with the company in 2001 and was released in 2007. Her last televised match took place on June 7, 2006, when she faced Mickie James. Reflecting on the possibility of a return, she said she would need at least a month to prepare both mentally and physically.
“Oh, the Royal Rumble. You asking me if I get the call? Yeah. If you get the call from WWE, what would you say? Oh, God. Give me a heads up so I can prepare myself. Don’t let it be a two-week notice. That’s all I ask. Okay? Give me at least a month so I can prepare myself mentally, more mentally, but physically as well. So I can get in the gym, work on my guns a little bit, you know. But yeah, just give me a little heads up and I’ll most definitely be prepared,” she shared.
Despite her enthusiasm, Jazz emphasized that she doesn’t intend to dedicate herself fully, considering the intense competition among current WWE superstars. She mentioned that she would prefer to make a brief appearance, similar to Chelsea Green’s WWE return at the Royal Rumble, participating for a short time before getting eliminated.
