Riot Games has announced that 2XKO, its tag fighter based on League of Legends, will be coming to consoles in January 2026. Currently available in Early Access as a PC exclusive, the game is set to expand its reach to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms.
The announcement was made at the beginning of an update video released by Riot today. Players interested in the console release of 2XKO can now add the game to their wishlists in preparation for its launch next year.
In addition to the console release, Riot Games has confirmed that 2XKO will support cross-platform progression when it becomes available on consoles. This feature will allow players to continue their progress seamlessly across PC and console versions.
The update video also outlined what competitive players can expect from 2XKO in 2026. Riot has partnered with various tournament organizers (TOs) to host a Major event and three Challenger events throughout five in-game seasons scheduled for this year, aiming to build a vibrant competitive scene around the game.
