Tuesday’s episode of *The Bold and the Beautiful* revealed tensions surrounding the upcoming wedding and Eric Forrester’s retirement.
Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) flipped out after discovering she did not receive an invitation to the wedding. However, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) respected Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) choice to exclude Sheila from the event.
At Forrester Creations, Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) questioned Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) about whether he regretted pushing Eric Forrester (John McCook) into retirement. Ridge admitted that the situation was complicated. While he wanted what was best for his father’s health, he wondered if the decision should have been Eric’s to make. Looking ahead, Ridge hoped that when his own retirement came, he would have someone to help him recognize it was time to step down.
Brooke encouraged Ridge to see this moment as an opportunity to shine solo in the couture spotlight. Despite this reassurance, Ridge remained uncertain about whether he had made the right call regarding Eric’s career.
Back at the Forrester mansion, Eric complained to Donna Logan Forrester (Jennifer Gareis) about the end of his career. Yet, he also wondered if Ridge had been right, expressing some regret over how heated their last conversation had become. Donna tried to persuade Eric to share some of his new designs with Ridge, but Eric shut down the idea and instead considered making travel plans with his wife.
The conversation then shifted to Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) and Hope Logan’s marriage ceremony. Eric admitted he didn’t feel up to attending the wedding. Donna stayed upbeat but was clearly concerned about Eric’s somber mood.
Later, Hope and Liam discussed Eric’s retirement before focusing on their imminent wedding. Given that Sheila made Beth Spencer (Jordyn Gracie) uncomfortable in the past, they agreed that Sheila would not be invited to the ceremony.
Beth stopped by to talk about her officiant duties, expressing excitement for the upcoming celebration with Hope and Liam.
At home, Sheila expressed her excitement to Deacon about the wedding and contemplated what she should wear for the occasion. Eager to make a bold statement about their strong union, Sheila was shocked when Deacon broke the news that she had not been invited.
Once over the initial surprise, Sheila argued with Deacon, insisting she belonged at the wedding. Deacon made it clear that the decision was up to Liam and Hope, who had excluded Sheila from the guest list. Sheila continued to push the idea that she and Deacon should attend as a couple, but Deacon emphasized that he had to respect Hope’s wishes.
