As 2026 approaches, Xbox is making notable leadership changes as it prepares for the new year. According to a report from Windows Central, CFO Tim Stuart is transitioning to a new role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at subsidiary ZeniMax Media.
Tim Stuart has been with Microsoft since 2007 and has served as the CFO of Microsoft Gaming for the past ten years. In his new position at ZeniMax Media, he will bring his extensive experience to one of Microsoft’s key subsidiaries. ZeniMax Media, the parent company of Bethesda Game Studios — known for popular franchises like *The Elder Scrolls* and *Fallout* — was acquired by Microsoft in 2020.
Taking over as CFO of Microsoft Gaming is Xavier Pokorzynski, who is currently the Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Gaming. Pokorzynski has been with Microsoft since 2014 and is well-positioned to step into this critical financial leadership role.
So far, there has been no announcement regarding any changes involving other high-profile Xbox leaders such as Sarah Bond or Phil Spencer.
These leadership moves highlight Microsoft’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its gaming division as it looks toward the future.
