The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) has announced a price reduction for its popular ‘Nandini’ milk products, effective immediately. This decision follows the Indian government’s recent cut in the Goods and Services Tax (GST) on essential food items, enabling KMF to pass on the benefits to consumers.
### Price Cuts on Ghee, Butter, and Paneer
KMF has revised prices across several key dairy products. The price of a 1-liter pouch of ghee has been reduced from ₹650 to ₹610. Unsalted butter (500g) now costs ₹286, down from ₹305. Similarly, the price of paneer (1kg) has been lowered from ₹425 to ₹408.
### Reduced Prices on Milk and Cheese Varieties
Other ‘Nandini’ products have also seen price drops. Goodlife milk (1-liter) is now priced at ₹68, reduced from ₹70. Processed cheese (1kg) now costs ₹497, down from ₹530. Mozzarella diced cheese (1kg) has been marked down to ₹450 from the earlier price of ₹480.
### Ice Creams and Savories Also More Affordable
The price cuts extend to ice creams and savory snacks as well. A 1-liter tub of vanilla ice cream is now available for ₹178, reduced from ₹200. Savories (180g) have been priced at ₹56 instead of ₹60, while muffins (150g) now cost ₹45, down from ₹50.
These price reductions come as welcome news for consumers, making high-quality dairy products more affordable across Karnataka. Stay tuned for more updates on product prices and offers from KMF.
