The incident occurred a day after the credentials of one media organization were revoked by the event organizers. Additionally, another media company was reportedly threatened with similar sanctions.
Among the critics was Sen. Erwin Tulfo, who expressed strong disapproval over the actions taken against the media. The situation has sparked discussions on media freedom and transparency in sports coverage involving the PNVF and related events.
