### Procter & Gamble (P&G) Price Reductions
P&G has revised prices across several brands including Vicks, Head & Shoulders, Pantene, Pampers (diapers), Gillette, Old Spice, and Oral-B.
– **Vicks:** The price of Vicks Action 500 Advance and Vicks Inhaler has dropped from Rs 69 to Rs 64, following the GST rate reduction from 12% to 5%.
– **Shampoos:** Prices of Head & Shoulders and Pantene shampoos have been lowered as GST on these products fell from 18% to 5%. Earlier this month, the GST Council approved a significant restructuring of tax rates aimed at boosting consumer spending. The new GST structure, effective September 22, simplifies the slabs from four to two — 5% and 18%.
