MANILA, Philippines — The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has issued a reminder to all entities under its supervision to transact only with online gambling platforms that are registered with the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor).
This advisory aims to protect the public and ensure that all online gambling activities comply with existing regulations.
In a notice dated September 16, the SEC urged all covered persons to “maintain heightened vigilance” by closely monitoring their customers and transactions related to online gaming platforms.
By adhering to these guidelines, entities can help promote responsible gaming and safeguard the interests of the public.
