MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Agriculture (DA) has accredited 14 establishments from Paraguay to supply meat products to the Philippines.
This move aims to diversify access to meat, especially as some local producers continue to face challenges due to African swine fever and avian influenza.
According to Department Order No. 13, these foreign meat establishments (FMEs) have met the necessary requirements to export their products to the country, helping ensure a stable supply of meat for Filipino consumers.
