**How to Find and Use Field Depots in ARC Raiders**
Field Depots are valuable locations in ARC Raiders for several reasons. Beyond being essential for some early quests, they serve as fantastic and relatively quick sources of loot and in-raid supplies. This guide will help you locate and make the most of Field Depots, specifically on the Dam Battlegrounds map.

### Finding Field Depots on Dam Battlegrounds
The introductory Dam Battlegrounds map features quite a few Field Depots scattered around. When searching for them, look for round, long, and somewhat ramshackle structures covered with a draped blue tarp. A distinctive antenna tower extends from their roof, making them easier to spot.
Field Depots are rarely found right inside major points of interest but can often be located nearby. A yellow-painted ladder usually leads up to their radar tower, offering a higher vantage point if you need it.

### Notable Field Depot Locations
– **Southwestern Swamp:** One of the easiest Field Depots to find is located in the southwestern swamp, roughly 150 meters northeast of the South Swamp Outpost. It resembles several other similar structures nearby but stands out due to its larger size and the radar tower on top.
– **Northern Region near Power Generation Complex:** If you spawn near the Power Generation Complex in the north, look for a Field Depot on the easternmost edge of the yellow border, about 200 meters northwest of the Pump House Hatch extraction point.

### Loot and Usage Tips
Inside the Field Depot itself, you’ll find a small amount of loot. However, the main rewards come from depositing Field Crates found in nearby buildings. Placing these crates into the device at the heart of the Depot lets you collect various goodies such as ammo, medical supplies, grenades, and crafting materials.
Even if you cannot see a Field Depot from your current position, its icon will automatically appear on your map once you are within approximately 75 meters. You can then set a waypoint to navigate directly to it. Be mindful that this icon disappears if you move too far away.

### Be Cautious
Using a Field Depot to open a Field Crate can be noisy, potentially attracting enemies. Moreover, the building itself is a dangerous “killbox,” featuring only one exit if an enemy is waiting on the other side. This risk is part of the challenge and thrill you face in ARC Raiders.
