Bryan Danielson Offers Nikki Bella In-Ring Advice, WWE Locker Room Reacts
Bryan Danielson, the AEW announcer and former World Champion, has been offering in-ring advice to a beloved WWE superstar—Nikki Bella. Nikki Bella is one half of The Bella Twins and the sister of Danielson’s wife, Brie Bella.
After appearing in the Women’s Royal Rumble match earlier this year, Nikki returned a few months later to participate in another 20-woman battle royal at Evolution 2025. Since then, she has been regularly competing on WWE programming. Most recently, Nikki unsuccessfully challenged Becky Lynch for her Women’s Intercontinental Championship this past August at Clash in Paris.
In recent storylines, the WWE Hall of Famer has been feuding with The Judgment Day faction. Earlier this week on Monday Night RAW, Nikki teamed with Stephanie Vaquer to defeat Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez.
During the latest episode of The Bella Twins’ podcast, *The Nikki and Brie Show*, Nikki Bella revealed that Bryan Danielson has been sending her feedback and material to study to help improve her in-ring work. She mentioned that Danielson’s honest advice has motivated her to bring more intensity to her performances.
“At Raw, I was talking with some of the girls about my match last week and I was like, ‘Yeah, Bryan, blah, blah,’” Nikki shared. “They were like, ‘Oh my God, cool, Bryan gives you advice?’ I said, ‘Yeah, he gives me feedback. He sends me stuff to watch and tells me things to work on.’ They’re like, ‘Dude, you’re so lucky.’ I know, and he’s honest. Did you notice I had a little more intensity going into things? I was really trying to think of it, which I need to continue, but you saw it more than before.”
Brie started dating Bryan Danielson around that time, and the couple tied the knot in April 2014.

### WWE’s Rusev Speaks Out on Losing to Bryan Danielson in AEW
Months after requesting his release from AEW last year, Rusev parted ways with the Tony Khan-led promotion in February and returned to WWE in April. Recently, The Bulgarian Brute addressed rumors suggesting that his lengthy absence from AEW television was due to his refusal to put over talent in the company.
Speaking with Shak Wrestling, Rusev pointed to his losses against Sammy Guevara, to whom he dropped the TNT Championship, and Bryan Danielson at Full Gear 2021 as evidence disproving those rumors.
“Clearly, when I lost to Sammy Guevara the title, that didn’t make any sense. When I lost to Daniel Bryan right after that, that didn’t make any sense. When I lost to whoever, like so, let the people go back and review whatever I’ve done and we’ll talk about that,” Rusev said.
Notably, Rusev’s match against Bryan Danielson at Full Gear was the final bout of an Eliminator Tournament that determined a shot at the AEW World Championship.
