**General Hospital Spoilers: Dante May Ban Gio from Seeing Rocco Amid New Trouble**
General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint at intense family drama as Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) considers banning his brother, Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), from seeing Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr). Will Dante insist there be no contact between Rocco and his brother, whom he sees as a bad influence?
GH fans recall this isn’t the first time Gio has seriously messed up when it involves Rocco. Previously, when Rocco got drunk at a beach party, Gio underestimated the severity of the situation, thinking Rocco could simply sleep it off. However, Rocco was suffering from alcohol poisoning, and Dante was furious, lashing out at Gio for not acting like a responsible adult.
Now, Gio is heading for a déjà vu moment as he once again lets Rocco down and faces Dante’s wrath. Dante had been proud of Gio recently when he came to Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) rescue, and it seemed like a hopeful father-son bond was forming. Unfortunately, that connection is at risk of evaporating fast once Gio admits what he has done.
As the week of November 17-21 unfolds, Gio will confess to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) that he is responsible for Rocco breaking into the lab. Although Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) played a role, Gio will take full responsibility for his actions. He acknowledges now that involving Rocco and the other teens was a colossal mistake.
Gio regrets roping Rocco, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonzyn), and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) into a situation that could easily spiral out of control. At the time, neither Gio nor Emma intended for the teens to do anything beyond stealing a key fob. However, Rocco and the others went ahead with breaking into the lab anyway, escalating the problem.
While Gio explains everything and expresses his remorse to Brook Lynn, Dante may overhear or join their conversation. Brook Lynn might try to defend Gio, hoping to soften Dante’s anger. Unfortunately, Dante’s main concern is Rocco’s safety, and he will likely need someone to blame.
Given Gio’s previous mistake with Rocco and this latest incident, Dante may decide enough is enough. Spoilers suggest Dante could take a page from Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) playbook by banning Gio from seeing his younger brother. Although Dante might stop short of a formal restraining order, he could firmly tell Gio to stay away from Rocco for the foreseeable future.
Dante’s tough approach would come from a place of fear and protection, believing Gio is leading Rocco astray and putting him in harm’s way.
